What insurances does Whitney Oaks accept?
We are proud to accept private pay, all PPOs, and a wide range of HMOs, Kaiser, Medicare, Blue Cross, Health Net, Imperial, Molina, Sutter, United Health Group, VA, Aetna, and more. No matter what type of insurance you have, our insurance experts will take time to help you understand your plan benefits.
Will Medicare cover my stay in the facility?
Residents may qualify for Medicare coverage if they meet Medicare eligibility requirements, including a qualifying hospital stay and physician order for skilled care. Coverage amounts and length of coverage vary. Our admissions team can help explain Medicare benefits and answer questions regarding eligibility.
How do I pay my bill?
We offer online bill pay. Go to our Online Bill Pay page to pay your bill.

Will my loved one’s room have a television?
Yes, our rooms include complimentary cable television.
Will my loved one have telephone and internet access?
Telephone hookups are available in resident rooms, and Wi-Fi service is available for residents and guests throughout the community.
What is your dining program like?
At Whitney Oaks, we’re proud to offer restaurant-style dining with diets designed by our full-time, in-house Registered Dietitian.
Can my loved one receive mail?
Yes. Mail is delivered directly to residents each weekday. Family members are also welcome to take advantage of the Send a Greeting feature on our website to share messages and encouragement with loved ones.
Do you offer activities?
We offer daily activities for a wide variety of interests. For your convenience, there is an activity calendar posted in your room. Please contact the Activities Director for additional information.
Questions & Concerns
What role does Social Services play?
Our social services team supports residents and families throughout their stay. Services include care planning, discharge planning, coordination of outside resources, emotional support, family communication, and assistance with services such as dental, vision, podiatry, audiology, dementia assessments, psychological services, and therapy referrals.
What do I do if I have concerns about my loved one’s care?
At Whitney Oaks Care Center, we strive to ensure that you or your loved one always feels comfortable in our facility. We want to ensure that your needs are being met. You should always feel secure with our staff, especially those providing direct care. If you do have any concerns or wish to praise a staff member, please contact our social services department. They’ll be able to address any issues you’re currently experiencing.
How do you protect patients, staff, and visitors from COVID-19 and other infectious diseases?
Our team is highly trained and experienced in caring for high-acuity patients and infectious diseases like COVID-19. Our dedicated infection prevention nurse helps ensure we follow current infection prevention guidelines and best practices. This includes educating all staff about the appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as N95 masks, surgical masks, gloves, and gowns and when to use COVID-19 protocols required by local department of public health and/or the CDC.
